DIY High-Waisted Ombre Shorts

Ombre Shorts are the latest trend for fashion. Its been popular these days and we wanted to try making it ourselves. You can be creative in how you want your design will be, just use your imagination. It's better to use your old jeans, be resourceful! For a design, you can use dyes to color your shorts or stick studs and spikes on it. Cut out Laces, animal prints and aztec prints can add to a cute look. If you want a hipster look, you could make a distressed or destroyed shorts. It's better do to a do-it-yourself short than to buy expensive shorts. ;)

So here are basic steps to make High-Waisted Ombre Shorts
Hope this helps!

Step 1. Get old jeans or buy a cheap high-waisted denim pants.

Step 2. Cut out the length you want to have. Make sure it's not too short so I suggest you cut an inch below the length you want.

Step 3. Get a big rectangular bucket and add a cup of water. Dip your shorts in and add bleach to it.

Step 4. Scrub some bleach on the shorts using an old toothbrush to give a faded effect. Don't forget to put on gloves!

Look how the white parts are appearing...

Step 5. Rinse it in water then dry for 2 hours.

To have a better result, wash it in the laundry.

FINISHED PRODUCT!

Pathway to Paradise

On April 5, 2013, Our family went to Pico De Loro, Hamilo Coast for a vacation and for the Pico Tri Invitational Triathlon. Our dad joined this event and it was his first time to join a triathlon because mostly he joins the relay or the duathlon. We stayed at Pico Sands Hotel for two nights, they have good service and rooms. You should go there! We also went to the Country club,  has an infinity pool and a 50 meter pool. They also have a gym, video game center, tennis court, table tennis room, basketball gym, and a kiddie play area. This place has good facilites and accomodations. The title is called Pathway to Paradise because it shows us walking to a happy place and enjoying life, this is also related to the triathlon. Even if my dad is a first timer, he ran to the finish line because that was his goal. We all have our own paths to happiness.
